Wholemeal fruit scones with coconut sugar

Ingredients

225g wholemeal flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
50g butter
50g coconut sugar
handful sultanas
8-10 tablespoons almond milk

Directions

- set oven to 230 degrees
- sift flour and baking powder into a bowl - add bran from the sieve too
- rub in butter then add sultanas and mix together
- add milk bit by bit to mix into a soft dough

- roll out dough on a floured surface to about 2.5 cms - cut into circles using a cutter or a glass
- place on a floured baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until risen
- cool on a wire rack

Serve with butter and honey or jam...
